Aim:
The aim of this task is to integrate, scale up, and demonstrate sustainable biorefinery processes for agri-food and marine biomass at near-industrial scale (TRL 6–8). It focuses on translating optimised pilot processes into robust, standardised, and replicable large-scale operations using innovative, energy-efficient technologies. The task also delivers validated operating procedures, techno-economic evidence, and demonstration facilities to support industry adoption across the island of Ireland.
