Shared Island Initiative, Cross-Border Bioeconomy Projects – REGENERATE & AIMBIO Informational Webinar

This webinar was an opportunity to hear about two groundbreaking projects, each awarded €4.5 million in government funding, and how they are driving bio-based innovation across the island.

REGENERATE, led by Greenville Energy in Tyrone, will recover phosphates and nitrogen from farm residues to create sustainable fertiliser, boosting both environmental and industrial goals.

AIMBIO, led by Teagasc, will transform marine by-products from aquaculture, fisheries, and processing into high-value ingredients for food, feed, cosmetics, and bio-based chemicals.
